On September 24, I learned that the most beautiful person I know was killed needlessly by a group of Drug Dealers in Veracruz Mexico. It was reported that she was a "Zetas" gang member. I knew Brigeth for about a year. I can tell you from talking to her during all that time that she was NOT associated with any drug gang. She knew many people in Veracruz because of the nature of her job but she was never in any case that I know of involved in the drug trade. She may have sought out the protection of the local drug dealer because of the nature of her work and may have paid a fee for permission to ply her trade but she was NOT a drug dealer. And for this she was punished and killed, because she paid a protection fee to the local drug dealer.
The world has lost one gentle soul.
